Dr. Tanina Fuselier

Dr. Tanina Fuselier is a native of Jackson, Mississippi. She was accepted into the LSU School of Veterinary Medicine in 1990, married Dr. Kevin in 1992, and received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine degree in 1994. Dr. Tanina always knew she wanted to be a veterinarian. After she worked her first year at a small animal clinic in Memphis, Tennessee, Dr. Kevin made the decision to pursue his veterinary education, so they made their way back to Louisiana and LSU.

Over the course of her career, Dr. Tanina has practiced at one of the largest small animal veterinary clinics in the New Orleans area, as a relief veterinarian, and as an emergency clinic veterinarian. Since moving to Opelousas in 2004 and purchasing Bellevue Animal Clinic, Dr. Tanina has served the practice in many capacities, but has primarily focused on her calling as a mom.

Dr. Tanina and Dr. Kevin have been blessed with three wonderful children, Jake, Mark and Mia. Their family is completed by their pets Cedric, Luna, and Miguel. Dr. Tanina’s great loves are faith, family, animal care and well being, nature, and books! A fun fact about her is that she is presently learning to be an audiobook narrator.
