Dr. Paola Amiama

Dr. Amiama recently joined the staff at Bellevue Animal Clinic in June of 2023. She achieved a Bachelor Degree in Biology with a Minor in Special Education from Loyola University of Maryland in 2018. She received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in May of 2023 after having attended Ross University for her Pre-Clinical and Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine for her Clinical year. Dr. Amiama has special interests in veterinary oncology and ophthalmology as well as shelter medicine.

Dr. Amiama has a 10 year old Chihuahua named Bambi and a 3 year old Chihuahua mix named Abi. She would eventually like to get a cat to add to the family. In her free time, she loves to read, go to the beach, and watch Formula 1. A couple of fun facts about Dr. Amiama are that she has met Adam Sandler and she speaks French.
